Hey, I'm Danika
I'm the kid who moved so much growing up that she never could truly settle or belong. She tried hard to fit in. Later in life, she felt she was lacking a desire to live or do anything worth while because she had low self-worth.
Then she found yoga. The practice peaked her interest because for once, she let herself be held and things felt good. She wanted to offer that experience to other people. She started holding space, teaching yoga, then she got into breathwork and coaching... She started realizing that holding space was an art, and when you get a really good space holder, you're able to truly feel supported through your processes.
I really love holding space. I love seeing women thaw and get in the feel of their bodies, I love when people finally share, and when they realize they're so held. I also love how sisterhood has expanded me.
Like many of us, I had a desire for deep, fulfilling friendship. For a long time, I confused this for a chaotic friendship. It brought pain and grief.
Moving through that discomfort was a teacher, and that's when I started cultivating and building more grounding, supportive, spacious, flowy, soul-filling connections.

This was my place of healing and reclaiming my self-worth, not through people, but with the gentle support of my village.
​
I went from being awkward in my body & interactions, always in my head, people pleasing, wondering if I was the only one that felt so out of place, comparing myself to other women, low confidence, in victimhood with lousy communication skills and totally unsure of all decisions 👉 to taking responsibility for myself & my sisterhood wounds, slowly re-learning to love myself & life, constantly edging my comfort zone, deciding that I'm powerful when I choose to be, putting more effort into making things happen and developing my skills, taking the time to listen to my body and move it in intuitive ways, cultivating expanding friendships, communicating and expressing myself clearly, leading with the student's needs at the forefront.​

I'd say I'm playful, multi-passionate, spontaneous, great playlist maker, cat aunt who loves roller blading, who believes Taylor Swift is therapeutic & inspiring, who is always up for karaoke.
I want sisterhood that feels truly safe, supportive, comfortable, fulfilling and conscious. It's the sisterhood that rises together and reminds you that you are not alone.
