Hey, I'm Danika
I’m a multi-passionate, playful spirit living on the east coast of Canada in New Brunswick. As a yoga teacher, I love setting the tone and creating environments that feel like a safe vortex where students are invited to colour outside the lines. My favourite is watching someone unfold, embrace her experience and feel deeply ~ it’s the most rewarding when someone tells me my spaces have been healing or transformative for them.
FUN FACTS: I'm an epic playlist curator who loves roller blading during summer. I believe Taylor Swift is therapeutic & inspiring, I collect scrunchies, I'm always up for karaoke, I'm a little obsessed with Human Design (1/4 Sacral ManiGen), I play guitar and write songs for fun & am always finding new creative projects to dive into!
I like to look at life as a playground with endless possibilities, and that leaves me to practice embracing every moment I can with open arms and keep the ball rolling - better to show up imperfect, than to always be chasing perfection. ✨
Over the last decade, I've trained in somatic coaching, trauma-informed care and more, so that I get to create supportive experiences for women to introspect, to connect and to grow.
Today, I co-lead retreats and create playful, personal growth, connective experiences, and I'm so pumped that this is my life.


I remember the moment when I decided I wanted to completely give up. Years of fighting tooth and nail to receive external approval and validation, and here I was looking infront of the mirror feeling disgusted because I had been eating blocks of cheese with a cracker box in my bed, watching The Vampire Diaries for the last few months and working jobs that sucked the soul out of me, complaining about how some people just have it better than me. Full on shame-spiral and victimhood story,
That's when I decided try something different.
I got super into the gym (maybe a little obsessed) with the goal of feeling better in my body,
I felt better in my body, but I also knew that I was trying to maintain my figure ~ I'd panic by the thought of missing a gym day and falling off the "wellness" train, because my self-worth was conditional ~ intertwined with my flat belly & tight butt.
In 2016, I heard about the spiritual element to yoga, and this got me curious enough to sign up for my first Yoga Teacher Training. (which ended up exploding my whole life for the better lol)
Yoga was the first foundation building element/tool on my journey to security and genuine self-worth.
The Spirituality path revealed itself not as the light and love I thought it was, but as a destructive, challenging, painful, scary as fuck, uncomfortable journey. (if you know you know haha)
It was also like a home-coming, a soul-calling, a bravery awakening.
My second foundation was the friendships and teachers that supported me through this time. It makes it easier to wake up from the patterns, cycles and belief systems you subscribed to when you don't feel so alone ~ That was healing for me.
I re-learned permission-ing, I met my own power and I discovered my voice a little at a time.
Over the years, I discovered that holding space is an art, and that when you come across a really good space holder, it's rare and magic. I wanted to be the best space holder I could be, so that I could hold space for women moving through a journey of home-coming.
Today, I love creating environments for people to unfold. I love seeing women (especially) thaw, get in the feel of their bodies, cultivate a sense of inner safety, and I love when people finally share their hearts, once they realize they're so held.
I fully believe that sisterhood expands us ~ because it expanded me in ways I could have never imagined ~ and that's what led me to creating more experiences and retreats for women only..
